About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager/Healthcare Project Manager to work through our agency as a contract employee with the state of Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am 4:30 pm for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $57.00 per hour. Sr Program Manager Job Overview: The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) is seeking a HealthCare Project Manager to support the implementation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE). This role would be responsible for monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying issues, providing solutions, and the day-to-day coordination of project activities. The position will work closely with key department leaders and staff and will be directly responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, in compliance, and within budget, and for ensuring the effective communications with stakeholders. This opportunity is open only to Tennessee residents and requires a hybrid schedule, including at least two (2) in-office days per week, with additional on-site presence as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have an undergraduate or advanced degree related to health administration, public health administration, information management, informatics, nursing, economics, business administration, or related fields.
  • Experience equivalent to substantial (three (3) or more years of) increasingly responsible professional public health program work including, at least, two (2) years of full-time supervisory work or program oversight.
  • Required experience includes at least two (2) years of grant management, contract management, project management, and finance management.
  • Experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint are required.
  • Additional graduate coursework in a business or health-related field may be substituted, on a year-for-year basis, for one year of the required non-supervisory experience.

  • Plan, develop, and express concepts accurately, and meet deadlines.
  • Assist in the review of deliverables.
