About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, business intelligence, or similar analytical functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and large dataset management.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning.
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and visualization design.
• Experience building financial models for pricing, profitability, investment evaluation, and growth analysis.
• Strong SQL skills, including query writing, optimization, and relational database concepts.
• Ability to analyze large, complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, Data, and operational teams.
• Demonstrated track record of improving reporting efficiency through automation and process enhancements.

• Experience with Adaptive Planning or other enterprise planning platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud-based data environments.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and large-scale reporting ecosystems.
• Knowledge of reporting governance, data quality, and standardized reporting frameworks.
• Experience in financial services, banking, lending, fintech, SaaS, technology, or similarly data-driven industries.
• Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and related financial reporting impacts.
• Experience implementing business intelligence solutions and analytics-driven process improvements.
• Strong interest in helping build a highly data-centric FP&A organization.
• Ability to navigate multiple business models and support diverse business units with financial insight and analytical rigor.

Responsibilities

• Support development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections.
• Lead and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring assumptions are accurate, documented, and aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance and recommend actions that support growth and profitability.
• Assist with strategic finance initiatives, including pricing analysis, investment evaluation, and resource planning.
• Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects to help leadership address critical business questions.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create executive-ready reporting packages, presentations, and business reviews that communicate complex findings clearly.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Gather stakeholder reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytical tools.
• Establish consistent reporting methodologies, metric definitions, and data governance standards.
• Support enterprise-wide reporting initiatives that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems and data warehouses.
• Analyze large volumes of financial and operational information to identify trends and performance opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and Operations teams to improve access to trusted, actionable data.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity.
• Identify opportunities to automate planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Enhance financial models used for profitability analysis, growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
• Support planning and reporting platforms through system enhancements, administration, and ongoing optimization.
• Participate in business intelligence, financial transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
