About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of work-related experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
• Clean driving record as evidenced by a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Demonstrated drive, determination, professionalism, and desire to contribute to business growth.
• Ability to quickly learn, operate, and maintain a handheld computer.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• Commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Class B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; the overview also indicates applicants should have or be willing to obtain CDL hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
• Inspect the vehicle and notify a supervisor about needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Fill cylinders as required.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operate the truck in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Interact with customers, provide service information, and answer inquiries.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.
• Ensure customer sites comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet all DOT requirements at all times.
• Assist with sales initiatives.
• Perform other assigned duties, including plant or yard maintenance and dock work.
