About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift Driver for a warehouse opportunity in Romeoville, Illinois, at $20 per hour. The role operates sit-down and reach forklifts to move product safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Work includes loading and unloading trailers, putting away inventory, and organizing materials to support warehouse operations. The position is in a busy light-industrial environment where safety, accuracy, teamwork, dependability, and attention to instructions are important. Employment is temp to hire. The anticipated start requires an interview.

Requirements

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Experience operating reach trucks or reach forklifts.
• Ability to load and unload trailers safely and accurately.
• Ability to put away product in designated warehouse locations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and team direction.
• Dependable attendance and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of forklift operating experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory accuracy and safe material handling practices preferred.
