About The Position

The Forklift Driver operates industrial trucks, tractors, cranes, manlifts, or forklifts to move materials in a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location. The role supports warehouse and production activities, including handling and arranging sheet metal. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Work takes place in a manufacturing facility and includes exposure to humidity, loud noises, dirt, varying and extreme temperatures, sheet metal, and forklift traffic.

Requirements

At least 6 months of forklift driving experience; warehouse or industrial experience is preferred.
Ability to regularly lift 25–50 pounds.
Ability to stand for 95% of workdays.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

Forklift, manlift, or tractor certifications.
Forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency.
Secure loads to the machine before transportation.
Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely navigate around the warehouse or facility.
Perform routine tasks to assist in production activities.
Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Operate gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
Arrange sheet metal in the warehouse.
