About The Position

The Location Supervisor assists the Location Manager with the day-to-day operations at their location(s). The role requires understanding all aspects of the location, building positive relationships with the client, and improving the efficiency and business of delivery operations. Relationship building with the client, recruiting, and gaining 100% of the client’s business at each location are top priorities. The supervisor is also a manager in training to become a Location Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and planning ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems, with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources, and to develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
• Excellent negotiation skills when dealing with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to provide timely and professional support to internal and external customers and vendors.
• Effective organization and leadership skills.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day location operations.
• Manage delivery and routes.
• Assist with recruiting and retaining contractors.
• Promote engagement and a positive culture.
• Work directly with the client and Location Manager.
• Adhere to and enforce operational policies.
• Oversee warehouse operations at certain locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
