About The Position

The Location Supervisor assists the Location Manager with day-to-day operations at assigned locations. The role requires understanding all aspects of the location, building positive client relationships, and increasing the efficiency and business of delivery operations. Relationship building with clients, recruiting, and gaining the full scope of each client’s business at each location are key priorities. The position serves as a manager in training to become a Location Manager and may include warehouse operations at certain locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and planning ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems, with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources, and to develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
• Excellent negotiation skills for dealing effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to provide timely, professional support to internal and external customers and vendors.
• Effective organization and leadership skills.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Location Manager with day-to-day operations and train to become a Location Manager.
• Manage delivery operations and routes.
• Assist with recruiting and retaining contractors.
• Promote engagement and a positive culture.
• Work directly with the client and Location Manager.
• Adhere to and enforce operational policies.
• Oversee warehouse operations at certain locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Build positive relationships with clients and work to gain all of each client’s business at the location.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
