Forklift Driver - Fox Valley
About The Position
The Clamp Driver unloads and stores roll stock from rail cars and trucks, identifies rolls, tracks inventory, and delivers the appropriate stock according to corrugator schedules. The role also supports other areas of the corrugator department when the machine is down and helps maintain clean, organized work areas. The position is hourly and full-time on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with additional overtime as assigned. The pay rate is $23.31 per hour, with a $0.35 second-shift differential. A sign-on bonus is paid in installments: $500 after 30 days, $500 after six months, $500 after one year, and an additional bonus at two years. The position is located at Fox Valley Container in Aurora, Illinois.

- Ability to process paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Unload and store roll stock from rail cars and/or trucks.
- Identify unloaded rolls with tags and writing.
- Check corrugator schedules and deliver the appropriate roll stock.
- Track roll stock tallies and tickets.
- Complete accurate records for roll stock used and unloaded.
- Help in other parts of the corrugator department when the machine is down.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Sweep trailers and floor areas.
- Complete a daily safety checklist.
- Change propane tanks and check the lift truck’s fluids and air filters.
