About The Position

The Forklift Driver works onsite at the Williams-Sonoma distribution center in South Brunswick, New Jersey. The role supports daily distribution and inventory operations by completing picking, staging, sweeping, loading, unloading, and related tasks using warehouse systems and power equipment. The driver works with leadership and team members to complete assigned work, maintain inventory accuracy, keep aisles and surrounding areas organized, and promote a safe work environment. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience operating Swing Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Dock Stocker equipment.
• At least 6 months of experience using RF scanners.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team and perform duties as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and ability to learn quickly.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Able to walk and stand for 100% of the workday.
• Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs or ladders.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to complete all manual and on-task work by the end of each day.
• Complete daily picks for the Hub using the inventory management system.
• Use orders to determine where items need to be moved, with or without power equipment.
• Use the warehouse system to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete staging and sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Load, unload, stack, and stage products using multiple types of power equipment.
• Maintain daily organization and housekeeping of aisles and surrounding areas.
• Promote safety awareness and help cultivate a company-wide safety culture to avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Perform other duties as instructed.
