Forklift Driver - 1st Shift ATL
About The Position
ThriftBooks is hiring a 1st Shift Forklift Operator for its Austell Processing Center in Atlanta-Austell, Georgia. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role takes place in a fast-paced, high-energy warehouse and involves working across a variety of functions while staying active throughout the shift. Team members are encouraged to provide feedback, and the company aims to uphold high standards and recognize strong performance. Candidates must authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screening and be legally authorized to work in the United States; ThriftBooks cannot provide employment visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least one year of forklift experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- High reliability and responsibility, with excellent attendance and consistent achievement of goals and metrics.
- Positive and respectful attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to receive coaching and feedback.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds for eight hours a day while keeping the body in constant motion.
- Schedule flexibility, including willingness to take on weekend shifts as needed.
- Must authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
