About The Position

ThriftBooks is hiring a first-shift Forklift Operator for its Austell Processing Center. The role is based in a fast-paced, high-energy warehouse and involves a variety of functions while staying active throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to work a weekend shift as needed. Applicants must be willing to authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screening, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and understand that ThriftBooks cannot provide employment visa sponsorship. Requirements

At least one year of forklift experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
High reliability and responsibility, with excellent attendance and consistent achievement of goals and metrics.
A positive and respectful attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to be coached and receive feedback.
Physical ability to work eight hours a day standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds while keeping the body in constant motion.
Schedule flexibility to work a weekend shift as needed.
Willingness to authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
