About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field plus more than 10 years of relevant healthcare finance experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of work experience in finance, accounting, or revenue cycle.
• Experience with database and decision support systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Advanced computer skills and strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs such as Excel.
• Ability to gather, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data and transform it into usable information to address operational and system-related problems.
• Ability to work under changing circumstances and deadlines, learn quickly, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally with professional peers.
• Understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, issues, and risks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• Experience with finance in an integrated healthcare environment.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or CHFP.

Responsibilities

• Support entity capital planning and forecasting.
• Identify and support operational performance improvement opportunities through financial and operational analyses.
• Develop, facilitate, and perform financial and operational analyses.
• Support data-driven and appropriate financial and operational decision-making across the entity.
