About The Position

Requirements

• 2–5 years of facilities or machine maintenance experience
• Associate degree or equivalent level of education
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Solid understanding of electrical systems
• Knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems
• Self-sufficient, able to work under minimal supervision, fast-thinking, and proactive
• Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
• Good physical condition, with the ability to carry up to 50 pounds (toolbox or parts) over 50 feet
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• High attention to detail and quality

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure.
• Welding process knowledge

Responsibilities

• Providing direct production support on APCO-designed and manufactured welding machines.
• Keeping operations running.
• Supporting operators during production.
• Ensuring a smooth workflow on the shop floor.
• Simple troubleshooting.
• Testing.
• Quick issue identification.
• Close coordination with teams to maintain efficiency and output.
• Proposing and implementing small design improvements to make the machines more efficient and user-friendly.
