About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management with more than 10 years of experience leading and managing projects; alternatively, a high school diploma with more than 12 years of such experience.
• Professional certification such as CAPM or PMP is required.
• Strong attention to schedule deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Proven success working with all levels of management.
• Strong written and oral/verbal communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations to management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and with AI applications.
• Willingness and ability to support domestic travel, including overnight travel, to vendor and company locations.

Nice To Haves

• More than 10 years of experience at a commercial nuclear power plant is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree with more than 10 years of project leadership and management experience is identified as preferred in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects within cost and schedule constraints, coordinating multiple vendors and varied internal work.
• Provide a high level of customer service and continuous day-to-day support to peers and groups, with proactive involvement with leadership, peers, and customers.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and projects.
• Drive project-team adherence to online and outage work-management milestones.
• Troubleshoot issues, assess alternatives and risks, and implement solutions while keeping projects on track.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing project scope throughout the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
• Develop and maintain high-quality project-management documentation.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
• Report project outcomes and risks through appropriate management channels and escalate issues as needed under the project work plan.
• Perform assigned Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties.
• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, including planning schedules, scope, budget estimates, implementation, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources and monitor project status, revising scope, schedule, or budget when necessary.
• Maintain relationships with client stakeholders and provide day-to-day updates on project status and changes.
• Build and develop project teams by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
