About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store. The role includes mentoring team members to provide fast, friendly service and ensuring every customer receives a great shopping experience. The position also supports store maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness, and performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and complete sales transactions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
• Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service and a great customer shopping experience.
• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude.
• Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts.
• Assist with training.
• Assist the Store Manager as needed.
• Ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
