About The Position

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is hiring an Assistant General Manager. The role supports restaurant operations and team leadership in a high-volume environment, with a focus on great service, memorable dining experiences, product quality, and restaurant cleanliness. The position involves shift management, operational and financial understanding, scheduling and planning, coaching and developing the restaurant team, and driving continuous improvement. Compensation is $70,000–$75,000 per year, with a 10% bonus opportunity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials.
• Understanding of food ingredients, including their flavors, aromas, and characteristics.
• Ability to perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Understanding of POS systems and OpenTable or other digital/online reservation systems.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning.
• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Manage requests that arise on the fly with ease and poise.
• Coach, lead, and develop the restaurant team.
• Drive continuous improvement.
