About The Position

The Assistant General Manager/General Manager provides strategic direction for a restaurant and is responsible for maintaining operational standards and driving results through people development, sales, and profit growth. The role teaches, models, and upholds Off The Hook’s culture standards for team members, guests, and partners. The manager leads restaurant operations, supports business growth, maintains the company’s commitment to excellence, and fosters a positive work environment.

Requirements

At least 3 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification.
Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and travel as needed for work-related functions and training.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple changing priorities.
Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create plans, and put plans into action.

Experience opening a new restaurant.

Responsibilities

Oversee restaurant operations to support efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Ensure operational policies, procedures, and standards are followed to maintain consistency and meet business objectives.
Monitor sales and trends, and take corrective action as needed to achieve financial goals.
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing leadership and coaching.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales, and promote brand awareness.
Build and maintain relationships with the community.
Address operational challenges and resolve conflicts or issues promptly and professionally.
Report crises or emergencies to leadership in a timely and effective manner.
Teach, model, and uphold Off The Hook’s culture standards for team members, guests, and partners.
