About The Position

Requirements

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification applicable to the position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions within established protocols.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems and other technology.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• Patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care.

Nice To Haves

• Occupational health or worksite clinic experience.
• Emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care experience.
• Experience with workers' compensation, injury management, or return-to-work programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor's evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Respond to workplace medical situations and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Support workers' compensation case management and return-to-work initiatives.
• Coordinate care and follow-up with outside medical providers when necessary.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings and Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), as applicable.
• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite occupational health clinic.
• Provide exceptional service to employees and the client.
• Support onsite employee health, wellness, and safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with medical charting, case management, and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Build strong relationships with employees, client leadership, Safety teams, and Medcor's clinical and operational teams.
