About The Position
Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures using proper techniques and administering contrast media. Works within the scope of practice and applicable certification or licensure when administering medications, operating equipment, and performing venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and CT scanner activities, and exercises professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. Covers CT and X-Ray Services at free-standing emergency departments (FSEDs).
Requirements
- Associate degree in Allied Health, with a major in Radiologic Technology.
- CPR certification.
- ARRT RT (R) registry.
- ODH licensure.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Proficiency in Radiology Information System (RIS) and image storage.
- Knowledge of advanced CT computer applications.
- Knowledge of radiation safety.
Nice To Haves
- CT registry.
- One year of experience or additional training in a specialized field of CT.
