Requirements

  • Two (2) years of Geriatric Nursing and experience in supervision of others
  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
  • Current CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Infection Preventionist Certification but willing to assist with obtaining the certification

Responsibilities

  • Infection control preventionist
  • Oversight of the restorative nursing program
  • Education in the SNF
  • Assist with audits, regulatory concerns, state surveys and other areas that need addressed, in conjunction with the Director of Nursing
  • Assist with covering charge nurse or medication pass in the event of staffing needs
  • Assists with new hire and annual competencies
  • Participates in monthly and quarterly QAPI meetings
