About The Position
As a Delivery Helper at Bond Distributing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the delivery driver in loading, unloading, and delivering goods to various locations. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as you will interact with clients during deliveries and represent our company. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring that all products are handled safely and securely. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of our distribution operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with local routes and geography.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading products from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure that all items are delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the safe handling of products and compliance with company policies.
