About The Position

Bee Green Recycling & Supply is a purpose-driven company serving the Bay Area through recycling services, a landscape supply yard, and a power equipment dealership. Delivery Drivers safely, efficiently, and courteously deliver landscape materials. They operate non-CDL dump trucks, such as Ford F550 and Ford F650 vehicles, and comply with applicable California and federal regulations and company policies. The role involves navigating difficult areas, interacting professionally with customers and coworkers, meeting customer expectations, and contributing reliably and cooperatively to a busy Landscape Supply Yard. Drivers are expected to take initiative and solve problems.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Have a clean driving record for the past three years and be acceptable for coverage by the company’s insurance carriers.
• Be able to provide previous drug and alcohol information from any previous employers.
• Be able to frequently exert physical effort handling objects weighing more than 75 pounds, including pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Have good peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, and able to work cooperatively.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of prior experience driving delivery trucks, specifically trucks with a dumping bed.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform minor repairs to vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver landscape materials safely, efficiently, and courteously.
• Operate dump trucks of non-CDL sizes, such as Ford F550 and/or Ford F650 vehicles.
• Comply with relevant California and federal regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle.
• Navigate difficult areas using good peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Communicate with customers and interact with customers and coworkers professionally, courteously, and cooperatively.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Take initiative, solve problems, and contribute as a team player in a busy Landscape Supply Yard.
