About The Position

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join its warehouse team. The role is responsible for safely delivering and retrieving construction equipment and materials to and from jobsites while maintaining timely, efficient delivery schedules. A valid Class C driver's license is required. When deliveries are not scheduled, the Delivery Driver supports warehouse operations by loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, maintaining the warehouse and yard, and performing other operational tasks as assigned. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

At least three years of delivery experience involving construction equipment or a closely related field.
Valid and insurable Class C driver's license, defined as a valid license with no more than two points on the driving record within the past five years.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical ability to load, unload, and handle equipment, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Proficient English communication skills, including the ability to write reports and emails clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate company stake beds or other vehicles to deliver or pick up equipment and materials of various sizes.
Hook up, attach, or disconnect trailers to vehicles as needed.
Tow trailers to transport equipment and materials when required.
Tie down and inspect cargo, following department policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Complete paperwork and email communications accurately and on time.
Communicate delivery arrival times effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
Perform general maintenance and warehouse duties during non-driving time.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Operate forklifts to move equipment as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations.
