About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related work experience, or an advanced degree plus 3 years of related experience.
• 4–7 years of experience identifying, querying, cleaning, and wrangling data; checking data quality; and working with common relational and non-relational databases in big data environments on premises and in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• 4–7 years of experience translating business questions and using statistical techniques to answer them with data.
• 4–7 years of experience communicating technical concepts to business, technical, and general audiences, including delivering data-driven presentations.
• 4–7 years of experience working with relational databases using SQL.
• 4–7 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Nice To Haves

• 2–4 years of experience with big data architecture and pipelines, such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights that support business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, capture metadata, and prepare data for analysis while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assess and monitor data quality, partnering with data stewards and quality leads on remediation and governance practices.
• Guide and mentor junior data analysts, developing skills and encouraging knowledge sharing.
• Design and maintain scalable data frameworks and technical documentation to support data architecture and standardization.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management.
