About The Position

Desjardins Group is looking for an advertising production coordinator to join its Creative Operations Management Team. The Creation Department supports the Desjardins Group marketing plan by creating and producing ad campaigns and content for personal and business members and clients, aiming to enhance brand visibility across various channels. The team is recognized for its creativity, team spirit, and collaborative approach. Reporting to the Creative Operations Management Team Leader, the Production Coordinator will utilize their organizational skills to assist the internal creation team with the production process. This role involves collaborating with marketing teams to oversee task assignment coordination, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met. The coordinator will work on assignments including content creation, social media, and ad campaigns. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating and implementing graphic design and copywriting tasks with external collaborators such as freelancers and service providers. The role requires analyzing and understanding internal partners' needs, providing advice, and identifying external solutions. The Production Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for external design, copywriting, and audiovisual service providers, monitoring projects to ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, schedules, and graphic standards. Interaction with collaborators from complementary sectors is expected. Strong organization and interpersonal skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, production or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in communications and/or marketing in an agency environment
  • Advanced proficiency in French, written and spoken
  • Intermediate proficiency of English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of graphic tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all steps of the team’s graphic design and copywriting production process.
  • Use project management tools to communicate with internal collaborators.
  • Organize and host follow-up meetings with the production teams.
  • Oversee work assigned to freelancers for design, copywriting and audiovisual services.
  • Propose solutions to optimize processes and maximize production efficiency.
  • Handle quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Make sure all deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Be the main contact person for internal and external collaborators during production.
  • Follow-up on projects in a diligent manner and manage priorities effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with creative experts (producers, designers, copywriters, etc.).
  • Make recommendations to improve production processes.
  • Keep up with advertising trends and new production methods.
