The role also collaborates with engineering and asset management departments on infrastructure masterplans and acquisitions, oversees contractors, and contributes to departmental resiliency efforts. Key responsibilities include managing recurring initiative projects, planning and scheduling assignments based on various factors, participating in hiring and onboarding, reviewing employee performance, and directing the infrastructure and asset planning technician. The position ensures the accuracy of GIS and CMMS data, develops and tracks departmental KPIs, assists in creating operating manuals and training materials, and provides system improvement recommendations. Additionally, the role supports emergency operations, acts as a liaison for SCWARN, provides recommendations for the CMOM manual, leads performance reporting, and assists with field verification of CMOM activities. The coordinator represents the division's adherence to the asset management program, participates in infrastructure asset assessments, conducts root cause analysis, investigates service requests, coordinates training, and assists with budget preparation and reporting. This role also includes on-call support for emergency situations and attending relevant meetings and training.
