About The Position

Join a global aerospace leader supporting a nationwide source inspection program. As an Operations Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in coordinating inspection activities across the country, ensuring the right inspectors are in the right place at the right time to meet customer and production needs. You'll serve as the central point of contact for inspection scheduling and coordination. Working onsite at our supplier's location, you'll partner with customers, inspectors, recruiters, and operations teams to keep inspection requests moving efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of scheduling, dispatching, operations coordination, logistics, or customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple urgent requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
  • Ability to quickly learn internal scheduling systems and customer software
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, quality, logistics, or field service operations
  • Experience coordinating remote personnel or field technicians
  • Familiarity with quality inspection or manufacturing environments
  • Experience working directly with customer operations teams

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inspection requests with a nationwide network of quality inspectors.
  • Assign work based on qualifications, availability, location, and customer priorities.
  • Monitor inspection progress to ensure response time requirements are met.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate urgent and same-day requests.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records while balancing multiple competing priorities.
  • Work closely with recruiting and operations teams to identify coverage needs in new geographic areas.
  • Monitor inspector utilization.
  • Help drive continuous improvements that enhance scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction.
