Under the direction of the Therapy Department leadership, this role coordinates staff and generates daily rehabilitation schedules for patients, along with the execution of essential business functions. The position involves active participation in department meetings, daily scheduling, and other assigned projects. The Office Coordinator is responsible for clerical support for front office procedures, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication. They also manage daily business office functions, assist with medical record requests, maintain equipment, and lead office meetings. A key aspect of the role is acting as a source of direction during the absence of therapy department leadership and upholding the organization's customer service standards and HIPAA protocols. Additionally, the role involves populating performance metric dashboards, tracking and ordering supplies, leading welcome orientation visits, and systematically tracking deadlines for progress notes and authorization forms to ensure regulatory compliance.
