About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Three years of experience leading strategy and creating social media brand content.
• Excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills.
• Ability to distill messages into believable, actionable content.
• Ability to build trust quickly and develop collaborative relationships.
• Strong project management skills and ability to plan, produce, and manage multiple creative projects on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Ability to travel locally, including to locations across Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of CRM databases.

Responsibilities

• Create photography, video, graphics, and written content for social media and other communications channels.
• Develop short-form, platform-specific content that communicates Fello’s mission, people, and impact.
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to identify stories and develop recurring content series.
• Provide real-time event coverage.
• Help people supported by Fello and employees share their stories, experiences, and accomplishments.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages.
• Maintain an organized library of content assets.
• Use performance data and platform trends to shape future content.
• Support Fello’s marketing and fundraising efforts.
