About The Position

At Fello, the Content Creator develops engaging content to support marketing and fundraising across social media and other communications channels. Working with the Digital and Visual Communications teams, this role creates photography, video, graphics, and written content that communicates Fello’s mission, people, and impact, with an emphasis on short-form, platform-specific content.

The Content Creator partners with organizational leaders and subject matter experts to identify stories, develop recurring content series, and provide real-time event coverage. The role also helps people supported by Fello and employees share their stories, experiences, and accomplishments. Responsibilities include monitoring and responding to comments and messages, maintaining an organized library of content assets, and using performance data and platform trends to inform future content.

This is a full-time position based in Linthicum, with moderate telework eligibility and local travel, including travel to locations across Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during Fello office hours, with occasional night and weekend hours based on organizational needs. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Three years of experience leading strategy and creating social media brand content.
• Excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills.
• Ability to distill messages into believable, actionable content.
• Ability to build trust quickly and develop collaborative relationships.
• Strong project management skills and ability to plan, produce, and manage multiple creative projects on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Ability to travel locally, including to locations across Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore.
