About The Position

Hire Overseas is seeking a UGC Content Creator to create short-form videos for its offshore staffing and HR platform, which places vetted global talent with U.S. companies. The creator will film and edit 60-second videos for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook using company-provided scripts. The finished videos should feel native to each platform and authentic rather than like polished advertisements.

This is a contractor role for creators based in the United States. The creator handles filming and editing from start to finish, including natural on-camera delivery, lighting, sound, framing, editing, and delivery. The role requires consistent, timely delivery, responsiveness to feedback, and organized file management.

Requirements

• A portfolio or link showing short-form videos personally filmed and edited; required to apply.
• Comfort on camera and ability to deliver scripts naturally.
• Strong editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a similar tool.
• A good eye for pacing, hooks, and audience attention on short-form platforms.
• Own filming setup, including a good camera or phone, lighting, and clean audio.
• Reliable and organized, with a record of delivering on schedule.
• Clear written English for feedback and coordination.
• Based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating UGC or short-form content for brands, especially B2B, SaaS, or service companies.
• Experience with captions, motion graphics, or basic animation.
• Familiarity with what performs on YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels.
• Experience working from scripts or creative briefs.

Responsibilities

• Film 60-second videos from provided scripts for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Deliver scripts naturally on camera so the content feels authentic.
• Set up lighting, sound, framing, and backgrounds to produce clean footage.
• Edit footage into platform-ready videos with tight pacing, captions, and clean cuts.
• Format and export videos for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Apply light graphics, music, and sound where appropriate.
• Deliver finished videos on a consistent schedule and flag timeline risks early.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly.
• Keep files organized and deliver them in the formats the team needs.
