About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works in the Skilled Nursing Unit under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with the scope of service. The role collaborates with other staff members and medical staff to serve residents. This is a per diem position with 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- BLS certification.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing course.
- Licensed nursing school in progress or completed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care for residents of the Skilled Nursing Unit.
- Provide age-specific and culturally sensitive care to residents.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with others to meet residents’ care needs.
