About The Position

AMADA Senior Care is hiring a caregiver to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care to seniors, including veterans. The role serves clients in the community and requires travel within a 25-mile radius of the caregiver’s home. Orientation is held at the company’s Jasper, Texas office. This is a part-time position offering 4–30 hours per week, with 4-, 8-, and 10-hour shifts and day or morning shifts available. Flexible scheduling may include weekends and overnights. Travel is required, up to 25%.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius of home; travel of up to 25% is required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform all essential job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of caregiving experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, including walks, transfers, and appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Observe and report unusual incidents.
• Support clients with daily living activities.
