Welcome to the 3rd floor Med Surg Unit at St. Anthony Hospital, a Magnet® designated, level one trauma center. The third floor is a new 28 bed surgical unit specializing in post-operative care for general elective surgical cases. Our patients have a wide range of diagnoses requiring planned surgical intervention. A good candidate for the 3rd floor would be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and teamwork. Our surgical unit lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorize work procedures and assign duties, shift charge.
