The Clinical Cytogeneticist is responsible for the review, interpretation, and reporting (sign-out) of chromosome, FISH and/or genomic microarray cases. This position could be designated for a remote-based position. Some Clinical Cytogeneticists may serve in multiple CLIA/CAP roles (Testing Personnel, Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisor, Clinical Consultant) although their assigned ARUP job title will remain that of Clinical Cytogeneticist. ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
