About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL license and ability to meet Fleet Safety Program requirements
• Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive work for extended hours, including up to 25 hours of overtime per week, as needed
• Strong communication skills
• High level of integrity, organization, and personal accountability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an indoor warehouse/fabrication production environment
• Constant sitting (67–100%) while operating a truck
• Occasional (0–33%) lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, grasping, standing, and twisting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in environments with smoke, fumes, and loud noise
• Continuous mental alertness
• Corrected vision, including the ability to differentiate colors
• Hearing within normal range
• Clear communication ability
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Must be able to properly wear and utilize required safety equipment

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated locations
• Inspect loads for safety, proper distribution, and secure strapping prior to departure
• Conduct pre-trip inspections including tires, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle functionality
• Assist with loading trucks and perform general yard duties when not driving
• Assist with unloading and verify material counts to prevent shortages
• Document and report any material shortages to the Supervisor immediately
• Perform all other duties as assigned
