About The Position
Willow Valley Communities is looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Van/Bus Driver to help transport our Residents and guests throughout our community and the surrounding area. If you enjoy driving, value safety and courtesy, and take pride in providing excellent service, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day!
Requirements
- Valid PA CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement (required)
- Less than a high school education with 3–6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service
Nice To Haves
- Prior bus driving experience (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vans and buses in compliance with state driving laws and CDL regulations
- Drive in a professional, courteous manner that reflects Willow Valley Communities’ values
- Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicles, as needed
- Properly secure wheelchairs, including leg and shoulder restraints, following established procedures
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies such as illness, accidents, or fire
- Inspect the vehicle after routes to check for lost items and remove trash
- Refuel vehicles and report maintenance needs to the Transportation Supervisor
