About The Position
Local Production company seeking experienced creative and driven freelance Camera Operators for a variety of upcoming shoots. Camera operators should be familiar with both in-studio camera as well as field camera operation. We are looking for people who work well in a team, are highly motivated, flexible and have at least 5 years of experience specifically in sports related productions.
Requirements
- Ability to operate studio cameras.
- Ability to carry 5-15 lbs. for an extended period of time during handheld shoots.
- 5+ years of experience in sports related productions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RED + Canon + Blackmagic preferred.
- Observant and skilled at setting up shots.
- Ability to think on your own and capture additional shots independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to operate gimbals.
- FAA Licensed Drone Pilots a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate studio cameras.
- Operate field cameras.
- Follow the action as it happens and take initiative.
- Capture additional shots independently.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues.
