About The Position

Tri-State Recovery is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Camera Car Operator / Grid Scanner. The role operates a company-issued camera car and systematically scans assigned residential and commercial areas using license plate recognition technology. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with no overtime required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Ability to spend extended periods driving.
• Ability to work long and flexible hours as business needs require.
• Basic understanding of vehicle makes and models.
• Comfort using smartphones, GPS navigation, mobile applications, websites, and other technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused throughout the workday.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in route driving, delivery services, field operations, security patrol, or similar positions.
• Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and surrounding service areas.
• Knowledge of vehicle identification and automotive terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company camera car throughout assigned territories.
• Follow designated scan routes and thoroughly cover assigned zones.
• Use company apps, software, and web-based platforms to manage assignments and document activity.
• Monitor camera hits and verify vehicle information when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
