About The Position

Drive a company vehicle outfitted with license plate recognition (LPR) cameras and software through an assigned area to locate vehicles for Repo Agents and scan and collect data. Check each vehicle identification number (VIN) before reporting a target vehicle to a Recovery Agent. The role includes completing daily vehicle inspections, maintaining the vehicle, meeting shift quotas, and following company and customer policies and procedures. Training lasts one week in Plano or Fort Worth. After passing training, drivers work from a lot in Lewisville, Fort Worth, Duncanville, McKinney, Balch Springs, or Plano. Day shifts run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; night shifts run Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The position requires 40 or more hours per week and may include nights, weekends, and some holidays. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Requirements

Be at least 23 years old.
Have held a driver’s license for more than three years.
Have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
Have a valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Have reliable transportation.
Be punctual, responsible, detail-oriented, organized, and driven to meet deadlines.
Be a team player and able to work without constant supervision.
Be able to sit for extended periods.
Have basic computer experience and typing skills.
Have a smartphone with a good-quality camera.
Be comfortable using phones, tablets, computers, RFID scanners, cameras, and other technologies.
Be able to work 40 or more hours per week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have no felony convictions within the last five years.
Pass pre-employment screening and unannounced drug screening throughout employment.
Remain professional and calm in high-stress situations and thrive in a multicultural, multigenerational environment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to identify vehicle makes and models by sight.
Experience as a car wash employee, dealership lot attendant, cab driver, delivery driver, security guard, veteran, or recently retired individual.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle equipped with LPR cameras and software through an assigned area to scan and collect vehicle data.
Locate vehicles for Repo Agents and check each target vehicle’s VIN before reporting it to a Recovery Agent.
Complete a daily vehicle inspection checklist, including checking tire pressure at 38 psi.
Maintain compliance with all applicable company and customer policies and procedures.
Work directly with the DRN to troubleshoot and remedy camera or software issues.
Report traffic violations or accidents within 24 hours, including incidents that occur off duty.
Clean the vehicle at the end of every shift and remove trash and personal belongings.
Meet shift quota requirements.
