LPR/ Camera Car Driver Tye

Pegasus Recovery Solutions•Tye, TX

About The Position

Pegasus Recovery Solutions is hiring day- and night-shift LPR (License Plate Recognition) Drivers. Drivers use an assigned company vehicle equipped with four cameras, each facing a different angle. The cameras scan license plates against the repossession database and alert drivers when a possible repossession is detected. Drivers are assigned areas and drive every street in each area before moving on to the next. Building data is the primary focus of the role; locating vehicles for recovery is an additional outcome. At the start of a shift, drivers arrive on time and prepared, inspect their assigned vehicle, and plan a route and coverage goals. They then drive their assigned area during the shift. Before the shift ends, drivers return to the lot, wipe down the vehicle, remove trash, and complete a post-inspection. Small breaks are allowed. The role requires extended periods of driving and working with little to no supervision while staying on task and prioritizing safety. The day shift runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The night shift runs 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Both schedules are 50 hours per week, including 10 mandatory overtime hours. Compensation is $14 per hour for the first 40 hours and $21 per overtime hour. Employees who work all 50 scheduled hours can expect $1,540 every two weeks. A commission is also offered for each secured vehicle located; details are discussed during the interview.
