About The Position
A family in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, is seeking a warm, engaging, and reliable caregiver for their 3- and 5-year-old children. The position is long-term and begins in November 2026. Care is needed occasionally, 1–4 times per month, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts may be on weekdays or weekends between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM and must be at least four hours. Compensation is $30 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related professional references.
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening.
Responsibilities
- Engage the children in indoor play and activities in the backyard.
- Organize arts and crafts activities.
- Feed the children prepared meals.
- Handle child-related household errands.
- Help the children get ready for bed and put them to bed.
