About The Position

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have 2+ years of experience working with children
• Have experience independently caring for children
• Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Be able to pass an MVR screening and comprehensive background check
• Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
• Be dependable, communicative, and comfortable working with different families
• Relevant experience may include nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, teaching, classroom support, camps, or similar hands-on work with children.

Nice To Haves

• Applicants with experience working with children with special needs will receive priority consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging care for children
• Play games, read, do crafts, and lead age-appropriate activities
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Assist with bottles, diapering, naps, and routines as needed
• Follow parent instructions and household routines
• Communicate professionally with families and the Jovie team
