About The Position

A family in Summit, New Jersey, is seeking a reliable, engaging, and attentive part-time Babysitter to provide after-school care and transportation for their 4-year-old child. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:40 PM to 5:00 PM, with an ASAP start date. Additional evening or date-night hours may be available if the caregiver is interested. The home is smoke-free and has no pets. The family values creative activities such as arts, crafts, and games. The caregiver will pick up the child from school, transport them safely to and from after-school activities, accompany them to outside activities, and provide attentive care until 5:00 PM. Compensation is $25.00–$27.00 per hour, with gas reimbursement or a stipend for transporting the child. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy.

Requirements

Relevant childcare experience.
Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation.
Ability to safely transport the child to and from school and activities.
Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

Pick up the child from school at 2:40 PM and safely transport them to and from after-school activities.
