About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and walk around the building.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly, with full range of motion in arms and hands and frequent ability to feel, handle, or finger objects.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Ability to communicate with customers and shop personnel.
• Vision sufficient to detect color and depth and to refocus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive experience is preferred; energetic, hard-working candidates with a passion for cars will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires, balance wheels, and rotate tires.
• Perform oil changes and other basic automotive services.
• Use the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area, tire racks, showroom, and outside the building.
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
• Transport customers and pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors and/or the corporate office using a company vehicle.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections in applicable locations, following company and state guidelines ethically.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to the direct supervisor.
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and company policies and procedures in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook.
