About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Duties include heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role is part of the vehicle reconditioning process, preparing vehicles for customers. The schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position requires at least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level roles, and this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
