About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced auto body technician to perform extensive bodywork on multiple vehicle panels and train other autobody technicians. Work includes heavy plastic welding and stapling; heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding; roof and rocker panel repair; and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role is based in a high-tech vehicle inspection and reconditioning environment and uses state-of-the-art tools. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Use of required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
