This is a PRN diagnostic radiology technologist position perfect for students with a multi-modality interest. The role works under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse. The assistant performs clerical and/or patient care duties necessary to assist in performing imaging exams. Clerical duties may include patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory. Patient care duties may include transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency. All other duties as assigned.
