About The Position

Requirements

• Knowledge of high school basketball and WIAA rules
• Possess a current CPR/First Aid card or have the ability to complete certification upon hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to students
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check upon employment
• Successful completion of WIAA rules clinic and concussion training upon employment

Nice To Haves

• Previous high school coaching/basketball coaching experience preferred
• Certificated personnel preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare student athletes for competition through the instruction of skills, strategies and training necessary to realize individual and team success.
• Provide instruction that will lead to the pride of accomplishment, self-discipline, self-confidence, and good sportsmanship.
• Consciously model the values of trust and integrity; be a positive role model for students.
• Ability to work with a team and communicate with supervisor, administrators, staff, students, and community members in a positive manner.
• Assist with off-season (summer) program.
• Other duties as assigned.
