• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Organization, time-management, and public-relations skills.
• Good judgment in varied situations, including emergencies.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit student-athletes into the program.
• Develop and implement an off-season athletics program.
• Advocate for multi-sport athletes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families.
• Track student-athletes’ academic progress and facilitate support needed to maintain academic eligibility.
• Collaborate with other athletic programs to provide off-season and summer opportunities.
• Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports and encourage athletes to participate in other programs.
• Hold student-athletes and coaching staff to high expectations.
• Help develop the youth program below the ninth-grade level.
• Work with local media as needed and build strong relationships with community support groups.
• Complete annual required online trainings and other West Linn-Wilsonville employment requirements.
