About The Position

This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native). Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers on functional design and analysis of requirements Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment Build and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using an object-oriented framework and class modeling Troubleshoot customer reported issues Mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, hackathons, etc. This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).

Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen (naturalized or native)
  • 4+ years experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
  • 4+ years of experience with design and development using an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience designing/developing business applications
  • 4+ years of experience with design and analysis of software for performance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • A collaborative teammate with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with JSON, REST, and GraphQL is a plus
  • Strong knowledge and application of key design patterns in object-oriented development
  • Experience in developing applications that prioritize usability and configurability
  • Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliant with at least IAT Level II certification, including a current Computing Environment (CE) credential and one approved specialty certification (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, CASP+)
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
  • Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly is preferred
